The idea of Web Hosting Lab

WebHostingLab started in January 2007. The purpose of the site is to test the speed of web hosting companies' servers. There are several benchmark tests, which I'll be running in order to test the speed. I recommend that you pay more attention to the stress tests. They show the extent to which the given host has available resources. The more available resources a given web hosting company has - the better. This means that they would spend a few dollars more so that your site has a better uptime and loads faster.

Big hosting company and big player. However they have tricky terms and really STRONG CPU usage restrictions. The owner of ixWebHosting was once also owner of Feature Price hosting.
